Café Fleuri’s Chocolate Bar Returns

The Chocolate Bar at Café Fleuri is back for its 23rd season. This time around, pastry chef Jed Hackney is allowing his nibbly guests to sample dishes with a wide range of cocoa percentages, spanning the full range of chocolateness . Guests will have the opportunity to peruse five stations filled with sweet options - look out for offerings like mango white chocolate chili mousse parfait (0% cocoa), spiced pumpkin and milk chocolate cake (40% cocoa) and guanaja cremeaux with olive oil and sea salt (70-80% cocoa). The inaugural cocoa celebration, which costs $40 for adults and $25 for kids ages 5-12, will take place on Saturday, September 10th and every Saturday thereafter until June 30th, 2012. Reservations, which are available at 11:00am, 11:30am, 1:00pm and 1:30pm, are strongly encouraged - call 617.451.1900, ext. 7125 to snag one.
